On January 13th, VFW Post 12192 held its first Salute to our First Responders Luncheon. The Post put together 75 BBQ lunches, with pulled-pork sandwiches, baked beans, potato salad, coleslaw, and assorted desserts. Once all the lunches were packed up, our members spread out across the county to deliver the food to our Heroes of the Police, Sheriffs, Fire, EMT, Hospital ER, and Prison Departments. Thank You, George County First Responders! You all are Heroes that deserve recognition.
